Lauren Bruton extends contract until June 2019!

Midfielder Lauren Bruton has signed a contract extension to keep her at Reading until June 2019.

Lauren Bruton, 24, has signed an 18-month contract extension until June 2019, the Luton-born midfielder’s contract had previously been due to end in December.

Bruton, who was named Reading Women’s player’s player of the year last season, has been selected for every next-gen England camp possible over the last 12 months and can now look forward to the Spring Series and two full ‘winter seasons’ with the Royals.

On signing her new deal Bruton said: “I’m really pleased to have extended my contract with Reading. The club’s ambition to progress and push on in the WSL made it an easy decision for me and I'm really looking forward to the challenges in the seasons ahead with the team”.

Manager Kelly Chambers: “I'm thrilled that Lauren has further committed her future to the club. Lauren is a great player that still has loads of potential to fulfil. She is a key player for us, as she showed last season, and I'm excited to continue working with her to see how much more she can bring in the coming seasons”.
