Reading Return

Last home match v Liverpool Ladies brought forward 24 hours and to be played at the Madejski Stadium

On Saturday 12th May Reading Women will return to the Madejski Stadium for the second time this this season. The Royals return to Berkshire to play our last home match of the 2017/18 season against Liverpool Ladies at 2pm. Our previous match at the home of Reading Football Club resulted in a 4-0 victory over WSL2 side London Bees in the group stage of the Continental Cup. It also attracted a WSL record breaking crowd of 2,248! Our previous meeting with Liverpool Ladies back in September, saw the Royals come away from the north west with all three points and an impressive 3-0 win!

We are also delighted to announce that the club have made the decision to make the fixture free to all Reading FC and Reading Women FC season ticket holders; simply show your season ticket on the gate! For non-season ticket holders, tickets for this game are available to by online and are priced at the advance sale rate of £6 for Adults and £3 for Children & Concessions. A family ticket, which admits two adults and two children/concessions is also available for £15. There will also be cash turnstiles on the day.

Parking will be completely free and unreserved, though please note our Green car park will be closed to the public. Gates will open at 1pm, but please be advised that traffic may be heavy around this time, so we advise leaving plenty of time for your journey.

Reading FC’s usual pre-match fun zone will be accessible from 12:30pm outside the Megastore (or inside the concourse depending on the weather). When you visit the fun zone, make sure you keep an eye out for our club mascots Queensley. The Megastore itself will be open, where you can find our replica home, away and goalkeeper kits in women's sizes. Programme's will be on sale in the concourse for just £2!

Our record-breaking attendance at our last match at the Madejski shows there is a great appetite for Women’s Football in the town, so make sure you keep that Saturday free and take advantage of seeing the team playing back in Reading!
